UK Biobank of the year 2016 – shortlist announced!

We are dedicated to promoting Biobanks and tissue custodians that go above and beyond in facilitating ground breaking research.

We have asked researchers to nominate biobanks that have made their work possible. The shortlisted Biobanks for 2016 are:

ALSPAC
CCLG Tissue Bank
Ethical Tissue
Generation Scotland
UK primary Sjogren’s syndrome Registry
Northern Ireland Biobank

Candidates were shortlisted based on their contribution to the research, including access to samples, quality and service.

The shortlist will be presented at our annual meeting UK Biobanking Showcase and attendees can then vote for the winner. The winner will be announced on the day!

UK Biobanking Showcase takes place on 16th November, 2016 at The Kia Oval, London.
