Applications for the UK Biobank of the Year Award 2020 are open! Now in its 5th year, the Award recognises human sample resources who have added significant value to high impact research.
The UK Biobank of the Year was announced at the UK Biobanking Showcase on Tuesday 19th November 2019. The annual Showcase, hosted by UKCRC Tissue Directory and Coordination Centre (TDCC), was this year held at the University of Nottingham.
Applications are now open for UK Biobank of the year 2017! The UKCRC TDCC is dedicated to supporting and promoting those who provide researchers with fit-for-purpose samples and data in the UK. We are keen to promote and encourage Biobanks that go above and beyond in facilitating ground breaking research. We therefore encourage researchers to nominate biobanks that have made their work possible. Shortlisted candidates will be presented at our annual meeting UK Biobanking Showcase and participants can then vote for the winner.
